Follow these steps to ensure proper closure of matches in PSP:
For matched pairs, where mentee is staying enrolled in PSP:
“In the future, if this mentor wants to return for a new match, should we rematch them?” The possible choices are:
- Yes
- No - Mentor was not able to consistently engage in our program or with their mentee
- No - This match was closed because mentor's behavior was unsafe
- No - This match was closed because mentor's behavior was not aligned with our values
"Yes" responses for Mentors will then go to the screening team, while "No" answers for Mentors will go to Alumni Community.
If the mentor requests a High School match, please choose "Yes, wants to be rematched" for the mentor. If they do not want to be rematched or they don't respond at all, choose "No, will not participate at all". If they haven't provided an answer, put "No Answer."
B) Once the match is closed, go to the mentee's profile (the current match status will be RS) and change their status to "NM" (Not Matching):
For matched pairs (or unmatched mentees) where both mentor and mentee are leaving PSP:
Then, make the Mentee "Not Matching."
2) Under "Persona Status" - click "Active" and change it to be "Inactive". They must be "NM" to be able to have this changed.
You can also do this on user profiles. Go to the User History tab and click "Show more personas" then select the persona status and update it:
For matched pairs, where mentee and mentor are staying in PSP and mentor is being rematched in HS:
- Close the match and choose "Mentor Initiated" for "Why is the match being closed,"
- Choose Yes for: "In the future, if this mentor wants to return for a new match, should we rematch them?"
- Choose Yes for mentor: "Will they continue in the program?"
- Choose Yes for mentee: "Will they continue in the program?"
- Yes, Mentors will go to the screening team to be rematched with a 11th grade HS student
- Take no action with the Mentee profile, leave them as RS in the Platform
- Take no action with the Mentor/Mentee profile in Enroll, leave them as M.
