Taking appropriate follow up action is an important part of any crowdfunding campaign. While certainly not the only way to express appreciation, email follow up to your mentor community members who participated in your campaign is a simple and easy way to reach every person who participated. That said, we would also recommend your program staff also taking the personal approach of thanking mentors in person at events or on phone calls when possible.

Hello Big Brothers Big Sisters [YEB],
We did it! We launched and executed a successful [mentor2.0 Challenge]. Hooray! Thank to all of you who were able to participate. It was a lot of fun to see the momentum build as we raced to raise [$XX goal] (and we are still so close, just [$XX] away from our goal!). A few fun facts about the YEB participation in the Challenge:
Total Raised By the YEB: $XX
Total # of YEB participants: XX
Total number of donors who gave to YEB pages: XX
I am so excited that we were able to get this off the ground this year and am looking forward to partnering with all of you as we continue to build our mentor2.0 program in [city, state].
Thanks for believing in mentor2.0!
Best,
[Name]

Thanks to your contribution, our mentors raised [$XX] to support [XX number of] new mentor-mentee pairs next year! You played a big part in getting us there and, for that, we are so grateful.
The [mentor2.0 Challenge] was a great opportunity for us not only to raise much needed funds for the program, but also for our mentors to share their stories with you—their network of friends and family—in hopes of growing the number of people who become a part of our larger community; one that believes in college access for all and helps us provide more students with mentors like mentor [NAME who brought on this donor].
If you are sufficiently intrigued and are interested in becoming a mentor yourself, you can learn more [here].
Thank you for your support!
