Learning Activities
1. Watch the FIT Factors Videos - Part 1 | Part 2
2. As a Program Manager, mentees will be interested learning more about your college experience. How can you use your experience to help mentees identify what is important to them? Download and complete My FIT Factors.
3. A great way to get more information about the fit of a college is to visit. Last year, over 50% of mentees reported visiting a college virtually with their mentor. How can you encourage pairs to sign up for more college visits together?

- Choose two colleges from Youvisit.com and complete a virtual college tour of each. Write down your thoughts on the virtual college visit note catcher.
- Review the Pair Expedition College Visit Guide. If pairs want to visit a school in person this fall, what local colleges would you recommend?

Read this report "Out With the Old, In With the New: Rating Higher Ed by Economic Mobility". The report states that traditional ways of assessing a college's value (ex. historical prestige and selectivity) primarily serve students who are already set up for success. How might you use the information in the Economic Mobility Index (EMI) to support pairs in their list-making process?
